We have a deep respect for our local environment and its vineyards. In fact, we limit our annual production to safeguard the health of our vineyards and the quality of their grapes.
We manage more than 40 hectares of vineyards, which are split up into smaller plots that blend seamlessly into the local landscape. We treat and prepare each plot separately, as this allows for optimal output and ensures the best possible wine quality.
The vineyards have clay soils and steep south and southeast-facing slopes, ensuring morning sun and strategically aerated spaces which allow for optimum grape ripening.

We grow and work with indigenous grape varieties that are steeped in history, lending our wines and txakolis an authenticity and a clear connection to the Biscay province.
The main grapes we use are Hondarrabi Zuri, Hondarrabi Zerratia and Hondarrabi Beltza. These local Atlantic grapes grow in small and concentrated clusters. Brimming with character and personality, they give our txakolis an unmistakable profile and identity.
